216. Body Renaissance: Reclaim Joy & Peace Through Energy Healing With Chanin Harmony
In this beautifully rich episode of the Embodied Writing Warrior Podcast, Kayla sits down with Chanin—a self-described Alchemistic Oracle—to explore the intersection of energy alchemy, emotional healing, body wisdom, and radical transformation.
Chanin shares her journey from living in a default state of fear to anchoring into joy, peace, and personal power. Together, they unpack what it really takes to heal: not through reliving trauma over and over, but through energetic clearing, compassionate reconnection with the body, and deep spiritual self-responsibility.
They talk about the somatic meaning behind left-side vs. right-side body pain, why the throat chakra is the key to reclaiming your voice, and how menopause can catalyze a profound emotional rebirth. Chanin also guides listeners through a tender embodied activation, offering a forgiveness and gratitude practice that brings you into loving conversation with your heart and sacral space.
This episode is for the woman who:
Has always felt "too emotional" or "not emotional enough"
Is dealing with chronic tension or pain in her hips, shoulders, or jaw
Feels like she's just now becoming the woman she was always meant to be
Wants a softer, more mystical path to healing her relationship with her body
Is ready to stop performing and start embodying
And don’t miss Chanin’s stunning 30-day journey Body Renaissance, a daily energetic and somatic invitation to come back to the truth of your body’s brilliance. If you’re craving a practice that blends acupressure, sound healing, forgiveness rituals, and intuitive listening—this is your call home.

Embodied Activation
Begin by settling into a comfortable seated or lying down position. Close your eyes. Let yourself arrive.
Step 1: Breath & Presence
Take a deep inhale through your nose...
And exhale gently through your mouth.
Let your body soften.
Another deep breath in...
And slowly release.
One more time—inhale peace…
Exhale tension.
Step 2: Heart Gratitude
Now, place one hand gently over your heart.
Feel its rhythm.
Feel the aliveness.
Silently or aloud, offer gratitude to your heart:
Thank you for beating.
Thank you for keeping me alive.
Thank you for letting me love.
Thank you for letting me be loved.
Breathe in that gratitude. Let it expand through your chest.
Step 3: Sacral Gratitude
Now place your other hand on your lower belly—your sacral chakra, your womb space.
Offer thanks to this sacred part of you:
Thank you for holding me.
Thank you for keeping me safe.
Thank you for allowing me to feel.
Thank you for creating—life, art, love, expression.
Let that gratitude ripple through your hips, pelvis, and lower abdomen.
Step 4: Loving Apology & Forgiveness
Now, take a slow breath in and speak (silently or aloud):
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Feel those words land in your cells.
Apologize to your body for the times you ignored her…
…for the harsh words, the pushing, the lack of rest or care.
Let forgiveness flow like a balm over old wounds.
Step 5: Integration
Take one final, nourishing breath in...
And release.
When you feel ready, open your eyes—slowly, gently.
Bring your awareness back to the room.
Notice how your body feels now.
Hold onto the warmth. The softness. The peace.
You’ve just reconnected with your inner sanctuary.
Come back here anytime.

Kayla: Hello Chanin and welcome to the Embodied Writing Warrior Podcast.
Chanin: Hello, Kayla. Thank you. I'm excited to chat with you today.
Kayla: I'm excited to chat with you because you do some really powerful emotional work to help people really become their healthiest selves from everything I've seen of you on Substack.
So I would love if you could share a little bit about what you do in the world.
Chanin: Sure. So thank you. So, like so many people like me, like I call myself an alchemistic oracle, because I work with energy alchemy and I am a mystic. I see the unseen and I'm also a psychic. My journey has been very long.
Of course, I'm 57 years old, but through all my different traumas and such that I have journeyed through. It became my passion I want other people to have what I have now, which as you see over my shoulder, is joy and peace. I used to live in a default state of fear.
So for me it's so, I can't believe where I am now about how happy I am now. Five years ago, I never would've imagined it possible. And so that's what I want for everyone else who comes into contact with me, whether it's just listening to a podcast interview or actually working with me.
Kayla: Thank you so much for sharing that, and I think that's something that so many of us are seeking and we're seeking it from things outside of ourselves without doing that like deep inner work to cultivate it from within. I would just love to hear, can you time travel back to that five years ago and let us know what that journey to peace and joy was like for you?
Chanin: Yeah. I'll even go back three more years because that's when it, well, in hindsight, I can see how I have been on this journey a very slow journey since I was a teenager, but like a 7 20 18, 20 17, so it was eight. It was eight years ago. The, my higher self or whomever the universe was like, all right, it's time to really delve into this.
And I woke up one morning August of 2017 with my neck was stuck, like I couldn't move it without severe pain. And long story short, I tried multiple different things, you know, doctor and medicine and acupuncture. And I ended up meeting my energy medicine mentor. And, and I actually joined her first program to help me with my bookkeeping company I had at the time.
And I wanted to help create a nonprofit to help veterans transitioning out of the military. And it turned into something I never imagined, which was being trained in her modality to help people. And so I was in her programs about three and a half, four years, healing my stuff, right. And then also being trained in how to help others.
And so that catapulted me into what I do now that I, yeah, it astounds me sometimes with where I am and how I'm able to help people. Because when I do sessions and events, for instance, or when I create my audios, I hear, see, feel, perceive. People's trapped emotions, their hidden beliefs, things they've said to themselves when they were five, or that they were told, you know, by others.
And then, from my belief system, I also tune into alternate lifetimes as well as their lineage. So it's really comprehensive and, we don't have to do talk therapy. You don't have to relive your past, you know, it's cleared through the energy and then some mindfulness coaching.
Kayla: I love that because talk therapy is amazing and has such a powerful place, and it can also be a very. Challenging thing to talk through again. And I also find that as beautiful and helpful as it is, it can also be an incomplete modality when you don't have the somatic piece and the energetic piece. So I love that you help people with that aspect.
Chanin: Thank you. And that's something that I've been journeying with the past several months is that somatic aspect where what I do actually does help with it, just perhaps not in the way people think. So I've been dealing with shoulder pain and hip pain. I mean, for a long time, but like a few months ago, I heard very intuitively, very strongly myofascial release.
I'm like, okay. So I've been seeing a pt, a physical therapist, and the emotions that have been coming out, particularly of my left shoulder has been incredible. And I see that because I focus on helping Gen X women, particularly dealing with menopause symptoms and such, which is a whole other topic.
Very often, shoulder pain in general is very common and the left side is associated with the feminine side, with our mother's side. And so it's not surprising to me that women are dealing with so much left side problems and challenges right now because women we are. It's such so clique cliche, but we are rising up, right?
And as women are entering menopause, we are shedding all of this stuff that we have accumulated in this lifetime. And so it does come out in physical pain. Um, yeah. So I'll stop there.
Kayla: I love that you mentioned a few of those things, and one is just that like coming into wisdom and like this like.
Almost zero F given energy is how I've heard it put. And you're just, you are, it sounds like you're releasing a lot of stuff at that time. And I love that you mentioned that like left side, right side piece and I would love to hear a little bit more about that because I have had a lot of like tightness in my right hip, which is obviously the masculine and I tend to be.
Too much in my masculine when I'm not careful. So can you share a little bit more about the distinction between that like left side, right side piece?
Chanin: Yeah, and I relate to that. I spent most of my life because of my trauma. The masculine energy. It wasn't safe to be soft and feminine and those sorts of things.
But really more so like the feminine energy is about that nurturing and caring and empathy and compassion. And this is about energy, not gender, right? So, and then that masculine side, the masculine energy is more about. Action and movement and those sorts of things. So when we do get caught up in that masculine energy, because especially in the United States, it's a go, go, go hustle, right?
Culture. And that's why we can end up with a lot of right side pain. And that right hip, that's mine right now, my right hip, oh my gosh. It's been going on for a while. And as I am coming back into balance with my feminine energy and my masculine energy and, and, you know, and balance not being 50 50, but just.
When masculine energy is required, when we have to get a task done, then we tune into that and when we need to be kind and caring and compassionate and tune into our intuition and such, then that's when we tune into the to the left side. Since I started my PT a few months ago, I have been challenged with identifying my left and right side.
It's very strange.
Kayla: Interesting. And would you say that's because you're coming into maybe a fuller integration between the two?
Chanin: That's awesome.
Kayla: Exactly.
Chanin: Yeah. I have to stop every time I'm like, which is right. Which is the left.
Kayla: It's very interesting. It sounds like kind of a cool problem to have, quote unquote problem.
'cause you can see the coming to more wholeness, which is so cool.
Chanin: Exactly. Yeah. And I love how you phrase that too. It's not really a problem, right? It can be a challenge in the moment, but yeah, it's because something wonderful is happening inside me and yeah, I, I generally try to keep my focus on possibilities and, positivity instead of seeing things as problems.
So that was a good, good statement you made. Yes, and and
Kayla: used a better word, but I was struggling in the moment. I know. So I would love to hear what are some of the really epic results that you have seen your clients create through this work that you do with them?
Chanin: Hmm. For mostly women that I work with that's why I attract and generally speaking.
Women are more likely to do the inward work. And that's just a generalization. But that is just the nature of the way we all are. Some of the things I've seen is that confidence level, number one is feeling more confident in their ability to speak up for themselves.
And just feeling lighter in spirit, more peaceful. I had one lady, this was a while ago when I first was doing readings of energy outside of a full energy session, and, I did something for her throat chakra, which is greatly about communication. 'cause hers was a problem.
She actually had a thyroid problem and I remember her messaging me maybe a week later and she said. Within a couple days of that, that session with me or that reading, she told her husband what she thought of his family, you know, after 20 years. And yeah, and it's so important because that, that's how I got into this whole thing was because of my throat chakra and not speaking up for myself and fearing getting into trouble, talking about my ideas or et cetera.
And. So that's like the throat shocker is a really huge one that I have seen change for women is being more confident, speaking up for themselves, speaking up for other people. But also that safety in the body and feeling safe to be yourself. And this kind of ties into the throat chakra, you know, but the identity part and not fearing what people think of us losing that fear of judgment.
Those are the ones that are popping into my head right away because we all deal with that at some point in time.
Kayla: 100%. I imagine every listener is like trouble speaking up for myself, feeling unsafe in the body and fear of judgment, all of the above at one point or another. And I think when you do heal those, that really gives people that ability to show up as that like fully self-expressed self that just feels really good as well.
Chanin: Yeah. You know, and when we are able to fully be as much as we can, I mean, we're always evolving, right? But as we expand upon that and are able to express ourselves more and more, it can improve obviously the relationship with ourselves, but our relationships with the people around us.
'cause we're no longer walking on eggshells and we're able to enforce our boundaries. You know, lots of people talk about setting boundaries, but few talk about enforcing them. So I like to say we're also enforcing the boundaries, saying, you know what? I'm not available for that anymore. And I remember the first time I did that with my current husband, and this was a while ago, actually, before I even got into this work.
And I, I'm actually yelled at him and whatever was going on, I don't remember now, but I'm just like, stop yelling at me. You can't talk to me that way. And I remember coming up to this desk. Because I was so astounded that I had done, and it felt so good. I was so proud of myself. I'm like, uh, is this what that's like just to speak my truth and say I, I'm not going to accept that behavior from you anymore.
Kayla: That had to feel incredibly liberating.
Chanin: Yeah, it
Kayla: did. It did. And did that change your dynamic quite a bit Going forward after that moment? It was a journey,
Chanin: but I just remember the look on his face, like, what is going on here? I don't understand. But yeah, I mean, our relationship has improved so much as I have been doing my inner work and, energy is not his stuff, you know?
He's getting used to it, but it's still not really his thing. But you know, he's evolved as well. I mean, we also evolve, not everyone does, but most of us evolve as we get older. And so yeah, we, we, we kind, we compliment each other.
Kayla: Mm-hmm. That's amazing. And I imagine that changes hard for, you know, a very set dynamic and it takes some time for the adjustments to be made and, and it's really.
Beautiful that you said that doing this work on an individual level has helped your relationship. Yeah, I think that's such a powerful point because I know a lot of people might have those relationship challenges and think that the solution is like couples therapy or partner changing, but so often if we go within and do that inner work, we're.
Either a lighthouse for them or we're creating a different climate for that relationship. And it gives us a lot of, I think, personal responsibility and agency. So that's really cool.
Chanin: Yeah, absolutely. And, and I've been talking about this a little bit more lately, um, in some of my social media is it's up to us, right?
People like to blame other people for what's going on in their lives. And really all we're doing is giving away our power because we have the power to change our lives through our choices. And that choice can be doing some inner healing work, whatever modality one wants to do, and it becomes. It's just, I don't wanna say it's like a high, but it's kind of like a high when, because I used to be so reactive because of, of my trauma and my husband, you know, this was 20 years ago, he is like, why can't you stop and think before you speak and react?
And I didn't know why, you know, at that time. But it's, it's like really just like, yeah, it's kind of like a hi. It's like you don't get. I don't react anymore. It's very rare, like, okay, if my technology isn't working right, okay, I get a little upset. But generally with humans, it's very rare that I react and that again comes back to that default state of peace and of joy where I really don't get ruffled anymore by people.
Kayla: And that is a beautiful situation to be in. For sure.
Chanin: Yeah.
Kayla: All right. So Chanin, this has been amazing. Few more questions. I always like to get my guests to give some kind of an embodied challenge to the listener, so a somatic practice, a journal prompt, something they can go away and do after listening to this episode.
Chanin: So I can tell you one, or we could just do one for a minute or so. Sounds perfect. Yeah. Okay. Alright, so this is actually part of it. It's a little bit of the body renaissance, my 30 day journey program. So if you like whoever is listening or watching it, I just invite you to close your eyes, put your hand on your heart,
and just take in a couple deep inhales and exhales at your own pace
and giving. Give gratitude to your heart for beating, for keeping you alive, for allowing you to love, for allowing you to be loved.
And then I invite you to put your hand on your lower, your other hand on your lower belly, which is your sacral chakra, your womb space if you're a woman. And also then give love to that space for keeping you safe, for allowing you to feel, because so many of us don't. This is where our emotions get held for allowing you to create.
Whether it's creating life, creating a business, creating art, just breathe in that gratitude and that love for these parts of your body,
and also asking for forgiveness to our body for all of the things we do that. Don't cause it to feel good, whether it is through what we're eating, what we're consuming with our eyes and our ears, through lack of movement, through bad habits, saying, I'm sorry. Please forgive me.
Taking another deep inhale and exhale, and when you're ready, you can open your eyes.
Kayla: Thank you. That was very peaceful and we think that so often we as women live in this world where we're trying to change our habits from a place of like control or judgment. Instead of it being like. My body does a lot for me. My body has withstood a lot of stuff and sure, I still might wanna change my habits, but can it be from that place of like gratitude and appreciation?
Chanin: Yeah. Instead of hate. And why is my body doing this, and why won't my body do that? Oh, what are you doing to allow it to do the things you want it to do? Yeah,
Kayla: exactly. Um, can you tell us a little bit about body Renaissance, because this program sounds amazing.
Chanin: Yeah, so it's a 30 day journey. It's 30 different body parts or organs that we are focusing on and.
It really, virtually everything that I have learned and or remembered is in these audios. So there's energy alchemy, there's sound healing through instruments, through toning. There's affirmations that are subliminal. There's are other little, tones and such to bring peace to the body. And then there's the ho upon upon no prayer.
As well as acupressure points. So it's you interacting with your body. I'm assisting, but it's really us reconnecting with our bodies and this one lady in particular who's in the program can really perceive energy and it's just astounding what she's perceiving happening in her body as we do these different things.
It's very beautiful and yeah, it's 30 days and it ought to then become a daily practice. Like a lifelong practice. And yeah. So that's it in a nutshell.
Kayla: That sounds incredible. And if people want to find out more about this or connect with you further, what are some of the best places for them
Chanin: to go to do so?
The best place is to find me on Facebook. That's the, that's the easiest one. And then I do have a link tree, and a substack. So those are the three best places to find me.
Kayla: Alright, excellent. I'll include links to all of that in the episode description. So thank you again so much for being here, Chanin.
Thank you,
Chanin: Kayla. I'm so grateful to have, chatted with you today. Thank you.
