From Gigolo to Guru: How Nick Eagle Rewrote His Life (and What We Can Learn from It)
What happens when a man who once starred in a reality show about Las Vegas escorts completely reinvents himself as a PhD-holding, black belt, spiritual teacher?
That’s the journey of Nick Eagle—formerly Nick Hawk—and the guest on this week’s Embodied Writing Warrior podcast. This episode is a powerful, high-voltage invitation to take radical responsibility for your life, rewrite your story, and reclaim your personal power.
We talk about:
Why confidence is the foundation of spiritual growth
How trauma, fear, and excuses keep us stuck—and what to do about it
The difference between spiritual entertainment and true healing
Why “my truth” might be keeping you small
What meditation really requires (and why you’re probably doing it at the wrong time)
Nick’s perspective is bold. Unfiltered. And unapologetically his own. He doesn’t sugarcoat, and not everything will land for everyone—but for the listener ready to challenge their story and step into full ownership, this conversation might be the permission slip you didn’t know you needed.
Whether you're a seeker, a skeptic, or somewhere in between, there’s gold in this episode for those willing to listen with presence.

Kayla: Nick Eagle, welcome to the Embodied Writing Warrior Podcast.
Nick: Honored to be here.
Kayla: I am honored to have you. So you are an author, a spiritual leader, and I would just love for you to share with the audience a little bit more about. The journey you've been on because one reason I was so excited to have you on here was because you've gone through a very big reinvention, and it was really inspiring to see that someone can choose a new character in their own story at any time.
Nick: Okay. Which journey and how much time do we have? Because we got Nicholas Haas to Nick Hawk. Nick Hawk to Nick Eagle. There's been lots of journeys, lots of awakenings. You wanna start from the beginning or Nick Hawk?
Kayla: How about Nick Hawk to Nick Eagle, because that was what I read about in your book, the Golden Laws of Enlightenment.
Nick: Prior to Nick Hawk, there was a lot of struggling, young parents, lack of guidance. I lived in a state of panic, and when I started stepping into Nick Hawk, that's when I started taking responsibility and repenting and having awakenings and deciding to operate at the highest levels and doing everything that I can to master confidence because I lacked it my whole life.
And I was sick of being that person. And I'd look at other people and. I'd be like, I I can do that. I can do that. I knew that we were one, I knew this for a long time. 'cause I'd see people and I never believed in the stars guiding us or were born with different personalities that never added up and made sense to me.
And I started paying attention and growing my awareness to see why people are the way that they are. The confident people that I saw, I knew deep down that I could be that and I was gonna do everything in my power to figure out how. And number one was putting the best things in me to operate at the highest levels, to give myself the best chance.
We all know that the better we take care of ourselves, the better of a chance we have in this world to succeed and, follow our dreams, have success, all of the above. I was still in Hollywood and acting and developing some of my crafts, taking improv classes, scene study classes, throwing myself to the wolves.
I stripped, I did everything I could to put myself in a situation to develop my con confidence, and obviously being on that stage and doing mail reviews. I was the cop act in a mail review every Friday for a year, as well as the improv and acting classes where you'd get some, some sides and you'd have a half hour to look them over.
Then you perform them with somebody in front of the whole class. I mean, where do you go from there? And I just pushed and pushed and pushed. Unfortunately much Darkness surrounds Hollywood. And then where I filmed my, one of my TV shows that I did in Vegas as well. And it wasn't until my Greatest Awakening where I knew I had to get out of the cities and get out of those businesses and seek purpose and have a plan and give back.
And learning what purpose is more than anything. Purpose is. Learning and taking in as much as you can from the world and giving it back to as many people as possible, few people would argue with that, and that has been the plan for some time now. Ever since I started working with people and helping them with their confidence, and I was a trainer for a little while in health and nutrition, you know, 15, 20 years ago.
And now I just released my book and my enlightenment protocol as well. That's at my website. That anybody who starts struggling with anything, I send them there first.
Kayla: Thank you so much for sharing and yeah, it's amazing that you can go from a place where there is a lot of darkness and then be at the place where you are now.
One of the quotes in your book is, I do not welcome darkness. I welcome you with open arms if you want me to help you leave it behind. Can you share a little bit more about what that quote means to you?
Nick: That is. That's my, I have endless quotes. That's, that's my favorite quote.
That's the one that's on the, the back of my book up top. It's on the top of my website. It summarizes everything that I do, and I summarize what the Golden Law of Enlightenment are as well. Where're in a society where we're putting feelings before truth. And we're in ACI society where there's a lot of healers out there that are comforting darkness instead of teaching people their power.
That's the biggest thing, especially in the spiritual community, it's not malicious people. They don't want people to feel bad. If someone's crying, they want to go up and hug 'em and pat 'em on the back and tell 'em everything's gonna be okay. Even though if they don't teach 'em anything, it's not gonna be okay.
It's gonna continue the same way it is. And that's with my awakening sanctuary to maintain the desired energy here, the ceremonies that I'll be putting on and the retreats that I'll be putting on as well. You need a proper shaman or a yogi to prepare somebody for not only medicine, but to have awakenings and to operate at these higher levels.
You have to know what starts happening when you enter, when you start being spiritual, which is doing anything you can to connect. And when you connect, you're faced with your higher self spirit source. God, you're faced with it. And if you're still choosing fear, there's nowhere to go.
And you have to have this proper preparation to know that, this fear is a creation of yours. You don't have to carry it. And you need to find the courage to leave it behind, to have real growth. The fear has to be gone to begin it. My master's thesis was I set out to prove confidence is important in the spiritual journey.
I ended up titling it. Mastering confidence is the beginning of the spiritual journey, and it really is that fear has to be gone. You have to be connected to begin this journey. You're not healing mentally you're not obtaining answers when you're not connected.
And why I can do this work is, number one, feel were as lost as I was. I, I stayed a panic at all times. I'd wear special shirts in high school that didn't show my sweat. I couldn't talk to girls until I discovered alcohol. Few people suffered as I did. So I see through it and as I said, I always knew, I looked at other people, I'm like, I can do that.
But now going from. The least confident person. I've one of the least confident people I've ever heard of to one of the most confident. I know it's all choices. I know anybody can overcome. I know we can heal without the pills, so I can see this, so I can teach this. So I have a lot more to offer than just comforting somebody and we have to be careful with this comforting.
These are very sacred and advanced teachings that few people decide to be ready for with this comforting of darkness. When you comfort darkness, as I've witnessed with many healers and shaman, they start becoming it. They start taking it on and, and you lose so much power in doing that because.
Again, they're not malicious, but they're seeing people as broken and not capable. So, you know, they're patting 'em on the back and saying it's, it's gonna be fine. And they're not teaching them that they don't know because they still hold that darkness as well. They haven't discovered their power yet.
Again, they're not malicious, but true healers, true shaman, true people who wanna step into this role to really help people. They need to know, they need to see, they have to overcome and battle all their demons and leave their fears behind so they can see how capable we all are.
Kayla: That is one of the things I wanted to touch on after reading your book was this through line of deep personal responsibility and this idea that healing and being healed is a choice and it's a creative power we have at any moment.
So I love that you share that. And I also find it interesting that you have these well-meaning leaders, spiritual teachers. That are trying to do good, but might still be struggling with their own stuff,
Nick: trying to, there is no try. You're doing or you're trying to do one or the other. And yes, they're trying, but you, you shouldn't put yourself in that position.
You need to go to the mountains. You need to spend more time and stillness and silence. You need to travel the world. You need to meet more with more shamans and healers. You need to learn more. Just because, you know, you see a way to possibly gain followers or friends or make money. No. You can't step into this role until you're ready.
Too many people do that, especially in the spiritual community, you know, where you can bend the truth on so many things and metaphysics and astrology and, you can pretend that you know things and you've healed yourself. And we have to see through this. We have to start standing up to these people and telling them that they're not ready yet.
Because they're doing more harm than good. They really are.
Kayla: Yeah. So how would a person know that they are ready versus they just think they're ready?
Nick: If you are unsure, you are not ready, period. If you are unsure, you're not ready.
Now it's okay to. If you lead with, this is my opinion, or this is what I've learned up to now, I think this works. You know, I, I think this is working for me. I think this works for other people. That's okay. That's, that's truth. That's not lies. That's not darkness. But telling people do, do this or do that, or, or you are, you know, you have bipolar disorder 'cause you're a Gemini and you're unsure about that.
You know, or you discredit someone and say, oh, you're, you're organized because you're a Virgo. That's such darkness. You're dis, you're, you're number one. You're discrediting somebody for the work that they've put in to become this person. Me. I can't stand that. I used to live in my truck.
I was homeless for a little while before I joined the Air Force. No, I'm not like this because I'm a Virgo. I promise, I put in that work. I put in that work. I have a PhD, you know, I put that work in. So not only are you discrediting somebody for something like that, you're also using that an excuse for yourself not to be.
So, but more than that, and it's not just astrology, it's gifts and talent. People think, no, you're just special. God favors you. That's not how it works. Or you're lucky. Woo. There's no luck. There's no luck. This is all blaming and excuses. You're discrediting people who put in the work and you're, and you're making excuses for yourself.
But that's, that's, that's what I attempted to teach myself up until I had this awakening and I repented, took responsibility for the darkness. I brought the world and all the fear. Up until then, I was trying to convince people that I was special. Because that's what I thought too.
That's what I was taught. Some people are just born, gifted and talented and special. No, that's, that's not a thing. It's nonsense. I knew deep down, but, you know, part of me, I was convinced, so I spent most of my life pretending, and it wasn't to tell, you know, I took responsibility vowed to operate at the highest levels and really started putting that work in, spending time with my thoughts and reading books, writing, examining everything.
Is when I, really started stepping into myself and I could leave all those lies, excuses and all that blame behind.
Kayla: Thank you so much for sharing that. And I imagine there's people listening who are. So captivated by this idea of being this confident, being this connected to their highest self, being this evolved.
So how does someone know if they're in need of a spiritual awakening? Like what would they be? It's so
Nick: easy. So easy. It's so easy. It was a long road for me. It was a long road for me. 'cause I didn't have any guidance though. I didn't have any guidance and I found alcohol and in some ways it helps you be more confident, but really you're just losing an opportunity to gain confidence.
It's a crutch. I got lost in that for a long time. I didn't have guidance. I stumbled, I made all the mistakes so you don't have to, and with putting things in my body, it doesn't have to be this journey, that's another thing that false prophets and healers teach people healing takes a long time.
It doesn't have to. It did with me. I don't like telling people that because it doesn't have to. I didn't have guidance though. There is guidance out there and the quicker you decide to leave behind the fear and go inside and go to the mountains and sit in silence, if you understood the peace and power that comes in stillness and silence, you'd have much more appreciation for it.
You'd do it every day. You'd do it often. You'd climb literal mountains. Just part of my enlightenment protocol is climbing a literal mountain every two to three weeks and really push yourself and getting up there. And there's nothing I love more. I just did Humphreys peak, the highest peak in Flagstaff this last week.
Whoa. I didn't think it was gonna be that good. It blew my mind. I have a video on social media of this hike, and it's doable too. It was so good up there. The winds were like 20 degrees with the windshield it was like 50 mile per hour winds. They were knocking me over, but it was so amazing.
I loved it. I was shirtless. I can control my, uh. My body temperature through meditation and breath work I dried a wet sheet in 16 degree weather for 30 minutes. I have that video at my kundalini page at my website, nick eagle mystic.com.
By the way, that's where my enlightenment protocol and a Kundalini page with the sheet drying and social media, everything is up there.
Kayla: I just love that it all comes back to the stories you tell yourself, and that's such a huge another through line in your book, is that if you tell a story that something's gonna take a long time, it will. And if you tell a story that's a decision and you're that powerful, when you're that decisive, then that's what happened.
And then also the stories that you can actually control these bodily systems that is so powerful.
Nick: It's all choices. It is all choices. We know this ev. Everybody who's listening knows every word I speak is truth. Every word. You know this, you know what you are, you know what we are. You know, you can overcome, you know, it's choices. You, you don't want to. I've been there. You don't wanna own that. You don't wanna own that.
No. I am scared right now because an experience happened to me in the past. You wanna hold that because then it's not your fault, you know? And. Let's leave fault out the window. What's right or wrong? No, let's, let's, that's truth, right? Right here and now. You're scared right now because you're deciding to be, you can, every experience that happened to you, you can decide it made you stronger and wiser or weaker and more broken.
That's a choice. You have to in the moment. It's a choice. Five minutes after, five years after it's, it's always a choice. I'm talking about physical trauma and pains and nerve damage. I'm talking about mental trauma. You were in a plane and it almost crashed, you thought you were going to die.
Okay. You don't have to carry that. That's all up here. And this, this trauma too, as, and this, these, these are more poor teachings. Again, when people tell you that the traumas in your body and it's stored inside of you, that's not truth. And that's a poor teaching.
There is damage that occurs from being traumatized or having something traumatic happen. The damage occurs. I'm not talking physical damage. The mental damage. When you stay in this low vibrational state of fear and you hold these tensions and you are deciding to be scared, yes, you're damaging all of the cells in your body and you do that for a long period of a time, there's gonna be a lot of damage, but that we can't blame that experience.
We can't blame that experience, and we have to know that we can heal and overcome that. And you could do it at any moment. And the challenge with people is they've carried this fear and this anxiety for 10 years now. And now if they admit that, okay, I've been doing the damage since it happened. That's a big thing to admit, that changes your whole world.
But that shatters the ego. That's what you wanna do. You wanna destroy that world of blame and excuses. You have to take right now, everything you're doing right now, you have to. It's you, it's you. It's, it's all you. It's all you. It made you stronger and wiser. It made you stronger and wiser.
It made you stronger and wiser.
Kayla: So what I'm hearing, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that once, first step to true confidence is that humility, that owning those choices in the past, taking responsibility for them even when it's hard on the ego. And from there you can move into this more confident space.
Nick: I'm not a huge fan of the word humility and even humbling. But in a sense, that's what you have to do. That's what I did. That was my, my day of repentance in, in, in oh five when I had my first big awakening. I had to own it. I had to own it. All this fear, all this fear that I brought to the, I've been bringing to this world and passing along, and this low vibration, I said I had to own it.
Yes. And. Humility and humble. If you're not being truthful about something, you need humility and humbling, but it's not something that anybody would ever need. If you are honest, you don't need those things. If you're honest about everything, if you're honest about the energy that you brought to the world, you would never need to do those things.
But if you are pretending that you're not all powerful and all capable, then you need that. But, once you admit that, then it's time to. Learn what you are and step into your power. The thing that you're pretending you are, you can be though. So instead of pretending to be that you be that.
And that's the choice. Now I'm going to be that. Then it's gone and it's all gone and you're awakened and that fear's gone. You can think clearly and connect and heal.
Kayla: Thank you for that distinction. And that's another thing I wanted to. So humility aside, humbling aside, one of the things that stood out to me in your book was this idea that everyone should be full of themself and have this excessive interest and admiration for themself, which comes from being connected to the truth.
So can you speak a little bit more on that? Because I think some people are afraid of coming across as arrogant and coffee Witch is very different than the energy you bring to the world.
Nick: Yes. What was the chapter titled? It wasn't Ego. It was titled something else. When you have an inflated sense of yourself? What's that? An inflated sense of yourself.
You are, it's not egotistical. It's, it's another word.
So we're back and we found the word, it is narcissist, which is a word that is thrown around. And again, I don't like any dismissive words at all. I can't stand crazy. And then, I mean, narcissists, all these mental disorder words, you know, anything that suggests you're broken and not capable, I can't stand them.
It's, there's too much of that in the world. There's too much of that world in the world. And narcissists is a big one that it might be the most disgusting word we use in our language. And I ask all of you to stop using it. It's okay to call people lost. It's okay to call people confused. It's okay to call people liars when they're lying, but these words suggest that they're broken again, like what we talked about in the beginning, they're nobody's born a narcissist.
That's just a very lost person. It's a selfish person, and. People who are lost like that and pretending to be confident and pretending to have answers, again, they, they should be humbled. But if you're not, if you're a truth seeker, you know, you, you should be the opposite of humbled. You know, and, and you should have a, an inflated self sense of yourself.
What's the opposite? Instead of that, you should have a low. Sense of yourself. No, you shouldn't. You should have a high sense of yourself. You shouldn't pretend you're something you are not, though. Never pretend you're something you're not. But you should have a high sense of importance. Well, very important.
I can't stand that when people, you know the Christian Church too. Nobody's important, but Jesus, we can do an hour on that if you want. I can't stand that. We're born sinners they use that word a lot too. That side is very dismissive and I actually, did two very powerful, some of my best work, two very powerful videos about Charlie Kirk recently, and one of 'em was titled I would've Humbled Charlie Kirk and both of him thank him.
He did a lot. I love what he did. He went to schools and he talked to people and asked questions. He opened discussions and he was truthful about the data and the stats and the facts and, a lot of the negative things there. But the right side is dismissive. Even with Trump too, he is doing beautiful things.
He's ending wars. The economy's amazing. The tariffs are working. He is doing a lot of good stuff too. But that side and the Christians are very dismissive when it comes to people and calling them crazy and narcissists. Charlie used that word a lot. They're very dismissive.
You can't, you can't do that. You can't just call people crazy, throw pills at 'em, lock 'em up, kill 'em. They're pro-death penalty. They're anti-abortion, but they're pro death penalty. And that's not how you battle darkness. You need to offer solutions. If you are gonna call somebody a narcissist, then you have to say, okay, this is what you're doing wrong, and this is how you can solve these problems.
If you're ever gonna use that word. I know it's a clickbaity word that everybody wants to use too, but you don't just call people the name and not say what they're doing wrong and how they can solve it. 'cause if you just call the name, it's suggesting that there's people out there evil too. That's what the church does too.
Some people are just evil. No, they're lost. They're lost murderers, rapists, they're our most lost and confused people. If someone wakes up on the street with no memory of anything, starts walking down the street, the first person punches them.
Second person punches them. Third, fourth, fifth, 99th person punches them. How are they gonna treat that hundredth person? They're gonna be scared. They're gonna run away. They're gonna fight 'em. They might punch them. That same person woke up in the street, no memory of anything, started walking. That first person hugged him, second person hugged him.
We don't feed darkness, but we can still hug. We're not in a place to, you can't go around hugging everybody yet. One day we'll be able to do that. We have to learn the lessons, but it's okay to hug people when they're not bringing darkness to the world and then patronizing 'em and praying to 'em.
They're pretending they're not broken or capable. Fifth person hugs them. 99th person hugs them. How are they gonna treat the hundredth person? This is all of us. You have to see that right. That's so powerful. You have to see that. You have to know that. You have to know if you walked in their shoes, that'd be you.
Once you start owning that and seeing that we're one, we share a soul. We don't have these separate souls. We don't, you know, you didn't live more lives than me. We've all lived every life. We're all connected. We are the same. We have the same chance and opportunities when we are brought into this world.
I see that if I didn't see that, I wouldn't teach this. You have to see that even when I lacked this confident, I saw another people, I knew this. I knew that we were one. You have to see that once you start seeing that. That is what's gonna really start allowing you to move forward and owning and taking responsibility and putting that work in more than anything.
You know, a good thing from the right too. They, they, they taught you to put in effort and, those teachings were good. When you're not calling people crazy and evil sometimes they say, put in that effort, the effort is rewarded. And that is so true.
Kayla: Few things I love about that. One was how you distinguish between labeling a person and then the specificity about their actions and how they can genuinely improve. That is the core of what I think is true feedback and what is gonna change things. And then the other thing I loved was that you're able to pull out nuance and good from.
All areas, which I think can be hard to do if you live in a state of fear. So thank you for that as well.
Nick: There's truth. I'll tell you the truth about anything. I don't care about losing followers. I couldn't lose any more followers than what I've lost at this point anyway, because I talk about both sides.
I bring it all up. I talk about the truth about all the religion and you know, people who struggle. I say the truth about everything and it's not about, just leave those opinions and beliefs and sides behind. No matter when you join a side, you wanna please everybody at that side.
So you keep all the beliefs and opinions. And it's not that Stop doing that. Stop doing that. We need to separate we, and that's what I've set out to do more than anything is unite. I talk about that in the videos too. Religion and Christianity will never unite us. It never will. It never will.
There's much truth in the Bible, you know, christians do many beautiful things, you know, but it will never unite us. It will never unite us, especially how it was brought to the world. That alone, that was the first question, you know, how can you support an institution that spread Christianity through these inquisitions and holy wars, and, you know, how do you even support it with that?
And then the other question was how can you pretend you can't be like someone you have never been? Like,
Kayla: that is a powerful question.
Nick: How can you pretend you can't be like some somebody you've never been like, you know, as they tell us we're unworthy sinners. The last question was, tell me one sin that you have to do. I've yet to have a Christian tell me one there. We wanna blame being human on our imperfections.
Once the lessons are learned, you know, what's after that? You're not sitting anymore. You're not making mistakes. And even, these stumbles when you're making calculations, when you're out here taking in the world and you trip, that's not an imperfection.
That's not a mistake. That's a great calculation. This is one of my favorite ways to, for the perfection argument. You know, we can all be perfect. Perfect. All you have to do is tell the truth about everything. That's all you have to do. That doesn't mean your calculations won't allow your day to go perfectly.
Perfect is telling the truth and operating and connected and making these calculations. If I'm taking in the world out here and I'm calculating, it's unlikely that I'm gonna trip. You know? That's a good calculate and I trip. That's still a good calculation.
Kayla: Yes, absolutely. So while we are on the topic of religion and Christianity.
Tell us more about your Golden Laws of Enlightenment and how they differ from that traditional religious dogma, because I know there's a lot of good distinctions.
Nick: Good segue. Number one is truth above all, you know, Christians are seeking, they're seeking. Few are in a place to put it above all and to truly repent.
All that fear doesn't get 'em anywhere. You're not gonna begin the spiritual journey living in fear of burning in hell. 'cause you're a bad person. Number two, leave that fear behind the church definitely doesn't teach that. That's the main one.
And as a child going to church, it disgusted me. Disgusted me. I remember I was already terrified enough. Now you're telling me that I could be a bad person and, and God could make me burn in a hell for eternity for doing something that it allows, what? It doesn't make sense, but o okay. I guess every, that's what everybody thinks, right?
And, and I have to sin. I have to sin. That's why I am a bad person. I'm gonna, oh, wait, no, I, oh, I, I have to go to this business and say I'm sorry. Oh, I can sin, but then I can just say, I'm sorry. Then I go to heaven. Oh, phew, phew. Oh, well, if it's that easy, yeah. I'm gonna be a Christian. I can do whatever I want and just go and give to the church some money and say, I'm sorry, and go to heaven.
Yeah. I'm gonna be a Christian. What easier way out is that? I mean, there's a soundbite for you. I'll, I'll repost that one right though. That that's what they're thinking. That's what they're thinking.
Kayla: It's interesting that people call themselves like God fearing Christians or whatever, but again,
Nick: oh. What part of you thinks you're gonna be rewarded for? Fearing God? I know what they're trying to say, but they're failing. You should have, you should be weary of the golden laws. Yes. You follow these laws to be enlightened.
And if you don't, you're gonna suffer and struggle if you don't follow these. But you don't be scared of not following them. If you don't know better, you don't be scared of not, you don't be scared of not knowing. That doesn't make sense. Just stop trying to outsmart God And this creation, it's the creation's perfection.
It. Everything is the way it is. 'cause it has to be for us to benefit, for it to be this enjoyable experience that is a gift. It has to be. And you know, the Charlie Kirk video, I started out by saying, I tell liberals to take responsibility for their life.
I'm telling Charlie Kirk to do the same. That's how I started the video. Yeah. It's a most crystal. How dare you say that? No, no. All of you, I promise, have posted on your social media. Sometimes we get back what we attract, something along those lines. You all agree with that? Okay. When things don't go as planned, you still have to own that.
Now again. I loved so much of what Charlie did. I was the supporter of him Overall. He talked to people and asked questions, but there was so much hate. The left lied about him very badly. They made him look worse. They put him on self park. They trashed him, but. If he had a different energy, if he was less dismissive, that hate wouldn't be there.
They'd watch his videos and they would see something else. As I said in the video, I don't like the righteous ones. They silence darkness and they unite us, and they don't choose fear. Righteous ones unite us. And everybody would've seen through that. He wouldn't have had that hate if he was doing everything right.
He brought us a lot of data. He brought us a lot of facts. I love that he talked to people. I love that so much. Overall, he's saying, this is what my religion teaches me. This is my opinion, this is my belief.
So he wasn't breaking that big rule of pretending either. A lot of people do that. And he stated that, and I liked that. I admired that. 'cause he would say, this is my belief, this is, this is, but. We need to get past this. Now, I don't care about beliefs and opinions anymore. I care about effortful truth. I care about effortful truth, and I'm glad that he said that every, pretty much every time he talked, this is what my religion teaches me.
But no, that's not good enough. It's not. That's why reli, that's where religion's gonna take you, where you are. That's why we have to forget about that and go inside, go within. That's what Jesus said, kingdom of heavens within. You have to go in to find it. Period. We all know this.
We all know this. Again, I'm not telling people things they don't know. It's time to own These things leave behind the beliefs and opinions. They cause too much suffering. They cause too much fear. Put in that work effort is greatly rewarded. Put in that work to find truth. We all can. That is what I've challenged myself to do more than with anything.
My first book was called a hundred Kicks in the Ass to Guide to Gaining Confidence to Reach Your Full Potential. It's when people first started coming to me and asking me when I put myself out there as someone who can help you with anxiety and confidence. But then started, people started coming with depression and, addiction and all these other problems, and I wanted to give the best information as possible.
I started reading every self-help book. All of them were gimmicky, there's some truth in 'em, but they were all gimmicky, it's like you're feeding darkness. You're just trying to sell books and say what people wanna hear. And that's why my book was titled at a hundred Kicks in the Ass because it was truth that I found in here.
I knew this wasn't gonna sell me books and tell you everything that you wanted to hear to continue to be who you are. This is a book to kick you in the ass, to push you to what you can be. Stop proving what you are, prove what you can be. We all know you can be that. So that's what life is.
That's what life is. Keep going, keep moving forward. Be excited about it. Be excited to learn what we can be. Once I started gaining a little confident, Ooh, this feels good. This is such a better vibration. I feel myself healing myself and other people. Now, where can I take this? And I kept going and kept going.
I'm gonna find out the a hundred kicks in the ass book was a, a sacred guide, and it contains secret wisdom that led me to my first Kundalini awakening. I had no idea. I never planned on being spiritual. This isn't a show. This is what happens when you evolve and you start connecting.
Kayla: That enthusiasm is absolutely contagious.
Nick: Take It In
Kayla: and what I love about that is. You obviously went to the books you studied, but ultimately your truth came from within and I imagine I watch that
Nick: one. I'm gonna catch you on that one real quick though. I'm gonna catch No, not my truth.
Truth. Truth. You add a word to it. It's not truth anymore. This is another trap. This is another, another spelling trap that we all say, you know, it's, if you, if you have to say my truth, it's, that's not truth. Adding a word to it, just say truth. That's, that was truth. It's, it's, it's truth. It's truth. When you truth not my truth, but when you, that's, that's what evil did with that word.
That's, they started putting. People who suffered greatly, obese people on magazines and saying they're healthy and saying that that's their truth, that's not okay. You have to know how much darkness that brings to the world when you start allowing people to have no, the truth is you are unhealthy, and if you stay that way, you're going to suffer greatly and bring us darkness and, and you're, you're harming yourself.
You're not gonna live a, a vibrant, long, healthy life. We can't, we can't say that that's, you are healthy and it's your no. No, we can't go there. We gotta, we gotta let the, the, your truth and my truth thing go because that allows people to, to make their life whatever it is. I see what you're trying to do. I lived my life and you don't know that. But again, that causes some separation, except that maybe you're broken and not capable as well. So yes, it is your life. You went through different experiences, but that's your truth.
If you're being honest about those experiences, that's not your truth. That's truth.
Kayla: Something I find very interesting because we are at the core, we are one. And also our lived experiences can be very different. So how does a person distinguish when they go within, when they sit in stillness and silence, when they start meditating, how do they distinguish between truth? And what might just be their truth.
Nick: We know deep down your truth is keeping you suffering your truth is giving you the blame and excuses. Your truth is you can't, it being healthier isn't going to improve your life. That's a lie. That's a your truth thing. Nothing's your fault.
I'm not mad at you. For bringing us darkness. If you haven't had guidance. I did. I'm not mad at that person who I was. Few people brought the darkness I brought and the fear we're not mad at that. We're not mad at you if you're suffering or struggling.
We're not mad at you. But you have to own that. It is the only thing that separates us is our guidance and experiences and the effort. That's what's separating us, not the stars. The stars don't separate us.
You have to see that we are one. You have to. And that's truth. That's truth. You don't need that. The my truth in your truth thing, that's excuses, that's excuse. That's not getting you anywhere. It's not getting you anywhere. You might have had a rougher life than some people. Okay. But the truth is you could be healthier.
You could be sleeping better at night. You could be putting better things in you. You could be thinking differently. You could have a more positive outlook in life. You could be reading more books. You could be putting in more effort, and you'd be a better person. That's truth.
Kayla: I imagine for many people that can be a difficult truth to hear, but when it lands, it really lands and can really positively impact a person, especially when it comes.
Nick: And I'm not, I'm not mad at them. That's what they're taught. That's what psychology teaches.
You're broken and you need pills. You're not, we're all born with a DHD. Focusing is a superpower. I know you don't wanna hear that either. It is, I promise. I've been there. They tried to throw pills at me. I, I thought I was broken my whole life and I had learning disorders and mental disorders. No, no. Those pills are sedatives.
They, they change your brain function. They don't help you. These are all superpowers. We can all develop. Focusing no baby comes out focusing. We're not born with gifts. We're not born with talent. We're not born special. You gotta put that work into be special. Focusing is a superpower. Develop it, it's self-discipline.
It's so good for you.
Kayla: So two questions. On that note, say someone has never meditated, how do they get started? Because I imagine that's one way that you build that superpower of focus.
Nick: Yeah, for sure. Well, and to piggyback on the last question, you know, how do we determine what is truth it?
It comes. We know when someone's lying every time. Most people pretend right along with them though, and just nod and smile and yeah, they'd wanna avoid confrontation. They're feeding that darkness. Can't do that. You can't. We need more people stepping up. So I just released a blog post titled something like.
Why you can't meditate and how to get past that. It's one of the latest blog posts and I've been there, I've been there too. I used to, before this Kundalini awakening, I'd wanna meditate 'cause you know, it was getting popular here and, and people I admired, you know, we're meditating, but I, nothing would happen.
So the biggest thing you need to know about meditation is you don't meditate when you're tired. Most of you're tired 24 7. You don't meditate when you're caffeinated. Meditate. When you are in a heightened state, when you feel good, when you have a lot of energy, when you have like workout energy, I'm gonna go get a workout in.
That's the time to meditate. You can do this every day. If you're taking properly care of yourself, follow my enlightenment protocol if you're exhausted, a lot of people think, you know, I had a rough day today. Now I'm gonna go meditate. No, that's not the time to meditate.
That's the time to relax and heal. Even watch tv. I'm good with you watching TV when you're depleted and your brain isn't working anymore, put it on hold. Tell tomorrow until you're operating at higher levels and restored it's not time to meditate when you're depleted.
So the best time to meditate is if you have a long work week and you know, Saturdays a rest day a little bit, and Sunday you're feeling charged. That's the meditate day, that's when the magic happens. That's when you're able to solve problems. When you first start meditating, it's all this chatter up here and the goal is to enter this constant state of meditation where all the chatter is gone it's confrontations. It's things you're avoiding, it's fears you're not facing. It's problems you haven't solved, and you have to be operating at these high levels. To solve these problems, you have to be making these calculations. So when you first start meditating, you're sitting in stillness, in silence.
You go to sit in Lotus, you know you can put your hands in your lap, put your hands on your knees. Close your eyes, focus on the breath a little bit. If, the thoughts are coming, you know, it's okay. Let them come. Because the states that I operate in now, I operate in this gamma brainwave state where when I'm not doing podcasts and all fired up, when all those thoughts are gone, it's a beautiful place.
You can calculate all those problems, how you're gonna handle situations the best way. It doesn't mean that you're never gonna evolve them again, but you're gonna get to a point where, okay, I'm good with this. I can file that away. And once everything is filed away, then all the new.
Not problems, but challenges. All, all the new situations that need solving come in, you solve them immediately. 'cause you're not distracted by this fear and all these other problems leading up to getting to that point of that problem. So the more you sit with your thoughts in silence, the better let them come.
But only do it when you're well rested. You're, you're not gonna get anywhere attempting to meditate on a, on a highly functioning brain. You're not, you're not gonna get anywhere. I think that's where most people fail. You know, they'll, they'll have a long day and then they'll go to the park and sit there and they'll meditate.
Oh, nothing happened. You know, nothing came to me. It's not going to, it's not going to, you're, you're not at. Not at these. You're not operating at high levels. You have to operate at the high levels to connect to source God, spirit. Once you connect, that's when the answers come. That's when you find truth.
That's when you heal. That's when you learn to heal. That's when you learn the destruction of fear and anxiety and deciding to be scared and overwhelmed and stressed out about everything. It's all decisions. That's when you'd be like, no, I'm gonna stop doing. I got this. I got this. I'm gonna take better care of myself.
I got this. And you get it.
Kayla: That is one of the most interesting things I've ever heard about meditation, because I am 100% one of those people who is like, I'm stressed, I'm tired, I'm gonna meditate, so now I'm gonna change how I meditate. So thank you for that. So.
Nick: Yeah. Yeah. Most people, most people and me, for so long, I was annoyed with it.
I'm like, this isn't doing anything. Is it fake? I'm seeing these people I like, I admire, I'm following these spiritual people. I'm liking the vibes there, but is it, I don't know anything about that world. Is it all fake? Is this meditation nonsense? Is it a show? It's not doing anything for me.
Kayla: So when we're running to the end of time, two more questions. You talked about your enlightenment protocol and how it really covers everything. What is the best place for people to begin with it?
Nick: Again, Nick Eagle mystic.com. Google, Nick Eagle. I'm the number one there. I add to it and I update and get on my email list too. 'cause I email blog updates. You can sign up at the website. I ask that you put your email in when you go to it. I also ask that you seek truth and you seek to leave behind fear. You don't have to put truth above all yet.
You don't have to be shed of all your fears when you come visit me at my Awakening center. No, but you have to be seeking truth and you have to want to leave that fear behind there's about 10 items in the menu. Pick one and go do it and start reading.
I have an advanced protocol, so I have a fasting protocol. I have an advanced fasting protocol. I have a fasting guide. Make sure you read all that. I have cleansing guides. The morning routine is the most important thing. I challenge everybody to have, a beautiful morning routine that you look forward to.
Most people get up, they're not looking forward to life 'cause it's go, it's shower, eat, go out the door, go to work, and you're not in your, just start in your day in this low vibration. Go to bed earlier, wake up with the sun, and have a beautiful morning routine. My morning routine is I, I do some, half a key lime and some water.
It's the key lime. It is the second best lemon. Drink that it cleanses out. Some flushes us out. I directly go outside, stare at the sun nude. If you can. You want sun on all your body parts, and I do some Kundalini yoga movements and I'm actually, I'm recording a new Kundalini Warrior, wake up routine.
I have one of them on there, but I'm doing a really good one this week as well. I do my Kundalini movements, bending forward and leaning back some chit chi, some different swinging movements to get any energy that becomes stagnant. It becomes low vibrational. It's, it becomes darkness when it's stagnant.
So we need to move everything and move all these toxins and poisons cleansing our body. Movement's a great way to cleanse the body too. You're not just building muscle by working out. You're cleansing the body. You're strengthening joints, ligaments, all of the above. And I do these movements and sometimes I'll sit down and do some breath work and meditation and then I'll affirmations as well. I highly recommend affirmations. I require everybody in my life to do affirmations. You can do them during the routine or during a little meditation. Have a forever evolving affirmation. Something that you wanna work on. You check out my enlightenment protocol.
You read my book. There's a couple things you wanna work on, you don't wanna forget. Put them in your affirmation. I am with every breath I take and I have.
I have like a hundred affirmations in here as well, to get you going with some good ideas. But that morning affirmation is important 'cause when we sleep and we wake up, there is a reset there. We have to remember the work that we put in. We have to remember that work that we put in. That's why I got this tattoo a while back.
It was a reminder. To be that person. I put all that work into being and don't forget any of it. It's easy to reset at night and forget like what you've become to plug back in the system. Especially if you're circle or the people you work with or you know, they're still in, in a fearful state and they're plugged in, they're, they're zombies 'cause they're drinking caffeine and not, it's not sleeping.
They'll bring you down. No, you start making people come up to you. That's why these affirmations are important, the reminders to carry that power even after ceremonies. I never say intricate back into the world. No. Make them come to you. Everybody comes to you. If they're not, leave 'em.
Leave them behind, and that's the best encouragement you can give somebody. That's the greatest lesson you can give somebody who's struggling with drugs and alcohol, you stop patting him on the back and saying, everything's gonna be okay. No, I don't allow that anymore. You're bringing me down.
You quit that. You come back, you're, you're welcome back into my life. So morning routines is one place to start, and then I have. Exercise, fasting, the, the best foods to eat. I have my enlightened nuts, my enlightened meals, amazing recipes up there. The most high vibrational foods. Celery juice. Celery juice is another big one.
I wanna say after I do the kund, the, the. Movements outside. I come in and I do celery juice. It's another amazing cleansing. I love it so much. I just did a post on this today about how much I, I love my celery juice. I gave it up for a long time because science is saying there's, there's bad stuff in vegetables and it's.
This I am. I let that go. I'm now connected with these plants and I, I hold it to my head and I connect with the spirit of the plant and I hold it to my heart to welcome it. 'cause I know how amazing celery juice is. So, juice, celery juice too. That's the second cleanse I do after the key lime or lemon juice.
Okay. Be excited. Heal and cleanse. Heal and cleanse. Everything you should be doing is to operate at the highest levels. And when you have this amazing morning routine that you look forward to, and these affirmations, you're putting these amazing things in you. That's how we're getting energy.
We're getting energy through these movements in the sun, and you're grounding out there, and then you're doing these cleanses. You're on point. If you do this morning routine, do these cleanses and then go work. You're gonna be your boss's boss in a couple days.
Or you're gonna have your own business next week. It's gonna come to you. Stop, stop wasting this life operating at these low vibrational levels and just filling yourself with caffeine that keeps you in this state of panic that destroys your adrenal glands, destroys melatonin production.
It destroys everything. Do celery juice. It flushes and cleans them out. And it doesn't put you in this low vibrational state of panic.
Kayla: So you answered the final question. I always ask my guests, and that's to give an embodied activation of some kind, but you just gave a whole bunch.
If you had one place, you would encourage them to start. In terms of like going to connect with you, what would that one place be?
Nick: Nick Eagle mystic.com. All my social media links there. I post on everything. So follow me at least one post place and on X as well. I post some good motivational stuff up there as also, and then my enlightenment protocol is there.
My book is there, the Kundalini page. And if you message me on Instagram or any of the social media, I respond to all brief and respectful messages too. So start with the enlightenment protocol. And then I always, whenever I send somebody the link to it, I say, come to me with questions. If you have questions about any of it.
And then obviously the book too. And with the book, if you get the book, I offer a free awakening session, a one-on-one with me. That's an hour for everybody who leaves a five star review on Amazon. So you get, you get my book and you leave that five star review and you email my assistant, you get a free, one-on-one with me too.
I'm here to serve. I'm here for you. You have a guide to help you through all this. I didn't have one. I wish I did. What happened much more quickly and there have been a lot less pain and suffering
Kayla: So thank you for all that because that offer with your book and the review is very generous and I imagine that love some of my listeners will.
I love it. I love it. Take you up on that. Love it. Yeah. Good. Alright. So thank you so much for being here, Nick. Any final words as we wrap up?
Nick: Cool. We covered 'em and more. I think I gave him enough. You, me, messaged me. If you need some more. I think you got enough right now. That was a good one. I burned a lot of calories.
Kayla: Perfect. Now we need some celery juice.
